Personal Bio:

 

Devon A.A. Norris was born in Louisville, KY as number 3 of 4 boys and from birth knew that performing was in his blood.  In fact the nurses swear to this day that he came out singing and he hasn't stopped since.  Growing up and moving from state to state, following wherever his parents and God took him, he found somewhere to perform.  Whether it was in churches, schools, arenas, or in his living room, Devon knew that performing was what he had to do.  After moving to Missouri before 7th grade he began his intense training and study of music, acting and dancing.  Throughout high school he excelled in all of the fine arts and kept a decent grade point average which he has carried through into college.  As college approached he had his mind set that a liberal arts university was going to be the best location for him to continue his training.  Lindenwood University proved to be a wonderful arena to hone his craft and experiment with different techniques within dance, music, and acting, but also within his general studies and educational classes.  After graduating with his BFA in Musical Thatre and BA in Speech/Theatre Education, Devon continued to travel around the country performing at different Regional Theatres and National Tours.  In January of 2015 he moved to NYC with his fiancé and continued pursuing his passion of performing.  He got married in September 2015 in Central Park surrounded by friends and family.  He is loving this beautiful city he gets to call home and can't wait to see what the future holds for him!
